Tasks for Magazine Research task 5

You will need to do the following tasks for your magazine research:
1. Produce an ideas sheet for a magazine of your choice. Decide on

• content
• advertising
• target audience (remember for the target audinece you need to state whether male/ female, and then consider the psychographics, geodemographics, socio economic status etc (see pages 50/51)

2. Market research; research what other magazines are being sold in the genre of your magazine (your competitors). Write a report on content, layout and design, advertising etc. Gather evidence of readers from www.nrs.co.uk

3. Find out about your target audience and their needs and wants; this could be using questinnaires and surveys. Compile tables of the results and remember to gather both quantitative and qualitative data

4. All your work should be presented using a header with your production name and logo, title of production, date, your name and client's name (as per examples in the classroom)
